Cenaero strengthens its activities thanks to supercomputer Lucia
On November 15th 2022, Cenaero inaugurated supercomputer Lucia. Hosted in Charleroi, Belgium within the A6K ecosystem, this new high-performance computing tool operated by Cenaero will allow to intensify fundamental and applied research.
With this new supercomputer, the Walloon region strengthens and consolidates its leadership in terms of high-performance computing and artificial intelligence.

The EuroHPC Joint Undertaking (EuroHPC JU) has launched on 25th July 2019 the annual Calls for Proposals.
The EuroHPC JU calls for proposals:
- Towards Extreme Scale Technologies and Applications and
- Innovating and Widening the HPC use and skills base
are now open in accordance with the annual EuroHPC Work Plan of the year 2019.

A workshop about the usage of the MAQAO framework has been organized on June 13th, 2019 in the Cenaero’s premises. MAQAO (Modular Assembly Quality Analyzer and Optimizer) is a performance analysis and optimization framework operating at binary level with a focus on core performance.
Its main goal of is to guide application developpers along the optimization process through synthetic reports and hints. It is a guide to help in vectorization’s improvements of users’ applications.
